I'm Purusharth, a research engineer in Bengaluru. At Conscious Engines I work on making reinforcement learning scalable and efficient for both autoregressive and diffusion language models.

I came to machine learning through mathematics: a BSc at the University of Delhi, then an MSc in AI and machine learning at CHRIST University. Since then I've built LLM systems at Iolite, NayaOne, SMOOR, Metrum AI and Swiggy, and post-trained 30B mixture-of-experts models at Gnani.ai. I write here when a paper or a bug sends me down a rabbit hole.
